Sarah Cherlin has been described as “dramatic, quietly technical, and mischievous” (The Underground Stage), is a young soprano who is quickly making her mark on the Australian operatic stage. Roles include Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites) and Cathleen (Riders to the Sea) with Gente, gente! Productions; Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Miles (The Turn of the Screw) with The Cooperative; Suor Dolcina (Suor Angelica) with Pacific Opera; and Pierre (The Wandering Scholar), Cendrillon, and First Witch/Spirit (Dido and Aeneas) with Concordia Ensemble. Concert and theatre work includes Verdi’s Requiem (Apex Ensemble), Slam Messiah (River City Voices), Coven (Light’s On Theatre), and A Certain Slant of Light (Operantics).
